Trek to Ballalarayana Durga Fort, Bandaje Falls - Camping Leader!

Along every journey, growth awaits you and boundary-breaking is often the mark of a true leader. As you camp with us this new year, you will explore boundaries that define what people are responsible for and enable them to decide what to do and what not to do.

The camp is designed to help you fine-tune your leadership skills through regular practice. In a safe and supportive environment, learn at your own pace, utilizing a curriculum that has helped individuals meet their goals. This Camp is a pathway to the learning experience,  to ‘empower’ people. Boundaries exist in job titles, allocation of resources, practices, communication, and hierarchical reporting. We believe leadership is about pushing boundaries, using initiative, and doing new things.   

Let’s Crack:

- What are the boundaries that constrain you at work?

- Where could you add value as a leader if you pushed a boundary?

- Where could you remove a boundary for people that would increase their freedom to act as leaders?

- Try describing what you will not do, instead of defining what you will do.

Tentative Schedule:

Itinerary 

Day 1, Saturday

Reach Homestay: Relax & refresh for a while, have breakfast, and get started for the trek

- Start the trek from the base and traverse through the lush green mountain ranges of Kalasa.

- Reach the Ballarayana Durga Fort and trek towards Bandaje falls.

- Enjoy your packed lunch and spend some time at the waterfalls.

- Start your descent and trek back to the homestay.

- Reach back to homestay and get freshened up.

- Enjoy a warm campfire dinner & overnight Stay.

Day 2, Sunday

Finish BF at the homestay and start exploring

- Visit Deveramane Viewpoint

- Visit Belur Temple

- Travel and reach Bangalore by 10:00 PM

GROUP SIZE

• We require a minimum of 10 members to confirm the event
• In case we fail to obtain the required minimum, a full refund or the option to transfer to any other event will be provided. (Option of transfer shall be subject to payment/ refund of the balance amount if any)

Things To Carry

• A Cheerful Smile
• Sturdy and waterproof backpack (It will be advised that you pack light)
• Water bottles (at least 2 liters of water)
• Fresh clothes for 2 days
• Extra set of clothes
• Sunscreen and sunglasses
• Cap/ hat
• Toiletries (shampoo, towel, toothpaste, tissue paper, etc.)
• Energy food ( chocolate bars)
• Personal medication (if any)
• Allergy medication (if any)
• Mosquito repellent cream
• A torch  (in case of emergency)
• Umbrella or rain jacket (monsoon is here)

ADVISORY

• While we try to create luxury - Travel is a pleasure on the trip. The locations that we host are remote places and we do our best to arrange the basic facilities. The goal is to be outdoors.
• The Food that shall be provided will be Basic Veg/ Non-Veg Food.
• Make use of bin - Put Litter in its place, do not trash your travel.
• CoRE/ Team Parikrama shall not be responsible for any of your belongings, valuables, jewelry, etc.  Kindly take care.
• In the case of traffic delays or breakdowns, expect a little delay in reaching the destination.
• The itinerary is subject to the weather forecast.
• Since our activities are conducted near and around water, alcohol, and drugs are strictly prohibited during the trip/camping for everyone's safety. If anyone is found violating the rules, we will have to ask them to leave our property immediately.

CANCELLATION POLICY

For all the above choices, you can transfer your tickets to your friends. We would be more than happy to have them on board and you could save your hard-earned money. Standard cancellation charges are applicable.
